2k paint is costing 120 euro a litre in ireland so you can do the math very expensive, is 9 litres with the hardners and thinners or is than 9 litre of 2k paint. any suggestion on retailer that ship to ireland, most wont.

should i use synthethic or 2 pack paint to do a complete respray. synthetic paint is coming in at 1/4 of the price of 2 pack. Has anyone used this paint? how does it finish? how much paint would be required to respray a Traveller inside and out including the engine bay?

is dum dum used between the front inner wing & wing to seal the joint, and a drain hole made into the dum dum. have seen this done on some travellers, not sure what to do.

Thanks for your reply. That looks like the boxing plate extension. The part I am looking for is underneath this. running from the b post to the wheel arch. it is attached to the timber with screws. The part is called closing panel side to floor for a traveller.

Hi There, Wondering would anyone have some pictures for me to look at, or some advise as to how the closing panel side to floor for a Traveller attaches please. Hi All, Wondering could anyone advise me on how much Paint it will take to completely Respray my 1968 Traveller. It's a whole load of different Shades of Trafalgar Blue at the minute! a complete respray is in order. If applying etch/ Primer coating to aluminuim panels how much of this is needed also...

Would like some advise on where to go to get Timber replaced and some floor panels to be welded in southern ireland. Should we attempt this ourselves. perhaps not as we are new to this. First vintage car always loved the Traveller for many year finally made the plunge. Love the site by the way!!! :D
