Only the more I think about it the more I fancy one...
They are pretty rare, but you'll see a good handful at the National Rally. They sometimes come up for sale, however these tend to be basket cases - the good ones are next to impossible to get hold of.
I fancied one for a while, but when I got one I didn't want to let it out in the rain - that was a pain as it meant my garage was out of action for car repairs when it was raining - however that's when it was needed! I remember welding outside under a tarpaulin - the tarp was keeping the snow off me...

2013... managed to seize my 1275 just by driving it round the block
They should not be expensive as only the dedicated collector wants them due to the slower engines. SR's went for a couple of hundred on e-bay. he advertised it here too.
