Splitty Travs...
How common or rare would you say SII Travs are on the roads these days?
Only the more I think about it the more I fancy one...

They are pretty rare, but you'll see a good handful at the National Rally. They sometimes come up for sale, however these tend to be basket cases - the good ones are next to impossible to get hold of.Only the more I think about it the more I fancy one...
I fancied one for a while, but when I got one I didn't want to let it out in the rain - that was a pain as it meant my garage was out of action for car repairs when it was raining - however that's when it was needed! I remember welding outside under a tarpaulin - the tarp was keeping the snow off me...

Steve R here in Kent solid his splitty trav a year or so ago. and yes it was a basket case! So they are available.
