Clutch Judder

My Traveller has Clutch Judder at times, it is worse when reversing. I have checked all the engine and G/box mounts and found them all to be ok. The cable that goes from the G/box to the G/box support is also ok. Before I take the gearbox out and check the clutch has anyone got any other ideas.

Sending parts by post

I recently replied to a wanted advert for a G/box side plate, as I had a spare one I thought that £5-00 inc postage was about right and so did the the guy who wanted it. The plate was well packed with both senders and recipients addresses clearly printed. It turned out that the postage was £2.65 fir...

2 Door Conversion

I started this project back in June and was hoping to have it back on the road for Christmas, well here it is. Still needs a little work and a dab of paint here and there but things are coming together nicely. I started by completely stripping the car down to the so that I could check exactly how mu...

Windscreens

I have 4 spare windscreens and as I was cleaning them in order to find a good one for the next project I find that 2 are 0.250" thick and the other 2 are 0.195" thick. Can anyone tell me why this is as they were all taken from MM,s of one type or another. :-?

Re: Adjusting Traveller Rear Doors

I had the same problem with mine. What I did was to fit a bolt to the upper part of the O/S door and the plane the N/S door edge till it closed correctly. I left about a 2,0mm gap between the doors to alow for any expansion through damp.
This resulted ii well fitting doors and no rattles. :D
