Re: Liquidated Charles Ware stock

Re: Jumping out of 1st on Steep Hills

Mine used to have a semi-helpful fault. On a brisk start in first, it could occasionally flip straight into second. Great if it had been consistent but it didn't always make the jump into second, leaving me in limbo,so I changed the box.

Re: Parking for Goodwood Breakfast club classic car meet

I went a few years ago in my MGA, having registered it (and apparently having been 'selected' for the event). I arrived early and was parked in one of the team shelters infield. Re: Removing Wiring Loom

Because I was replacing my loom, and I guessed that there might be a while between removing the old and fitting the new loom, I left an inch or so of the old wire on each instrument, light and fitting. It gave me a double check that I was fitting the correct wires to each when the inevitable delay m...

Re: CJ Autos vehicle lift/tilter

I have one and have used it successfully. It was a fiddle to set it up properly but good to jack up front or back. I used it while working on the brakes. It was a while ago and I regret that I can't remember whether it is set up on a wide setting. it is currently under my Traveller, awaiting labour...
