Certainly not reached this part of Scotland yet, but given everything that is going on, perhaps not too surprising. I'm sure it'll turn up in due course.
Re: NOVEMBER/DECEMBER Minor Matters ??
Message on the office answerphone says that they were posted on Monday 9th, so fingers crossed for Wednesday/Thursday arrival. I guess that they were getting bombarded with questions about non-arrival

That's a shame if they are getting bombarded with calls. Mail and deliveries are unpredictable at the best of times, even more so now. Hopefully folks can wait a few extra days for the magazine. Taken positively, it could mean everyone is just really keen to see the next issue of the magazine !

Re: NOVEMBER/DECEMBER Minor Matters ??
Hi,
I believe the Post Office is quite busy at the moment and so there seems to be a bit of a backlog / delay. I'm allowing a few extra days for anything bought online and expected through the post, so I would expect this to be the same.
Therefore I would say Thursday onwards, maybe as late as Monday.
Best wishes,
Mike.

I'd agree Mike. With the lockdown and then throw in the pre Christmas online shopping, we're already being advised of two week delivery timescales for orders.
I'll just look forward to it and enjoy it when it arrives.

My post is taking days to get to me and when I spoke to my lovely postman he was telling me about the extra duties that he also has now with collecting parcels,to compete with the likes of Hermes etc.
They are expected to carry out these duties at no extra pay and inline with their other duties

But on balance, things are different now.cococola wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 2:26 pm My post is taking days to get to me and when I spoke to my lovely postman he was telling me about the extra duties that he also has now with collecting parcels,to compete with the likes of Hermes etc.

Letters quantities are a fraction of what they were 10 years ago.
Our Posties 10-15 years ago were on pushbikes, worked from a small sorting office in the village and rarely handled anything that didn't fit in the letter box.
Now they sort the post in the small town about 6 miles away and all have a van each. They park up, walk their routes delivering letters and small packets, before driving around to deliver the larger packages.
I know there are also package collection services now too, but I'm not sure if that is country wide yet.

Snap. I'm also an NG postcode.
I wonder how many others will now provide a country-wide update....

Mine arrived today also.
Think I'll be ordering a 'Drive it Day' rally plaque, all in a good cause.
Hopefully I'll be able to actually drive Sally by then........
Best wishes,
Mike.
