The door lock and the boot handle have disappeared!

All Minor 1000s had a self park. If you've had the lid off the motor, you need to adjust the self park by loosening the top and rotating the circular cover until the wipers park in the desired position.

The vacuum pipe is normally at the front of A Minor 1000 engine.
On a Series 11 with the 803cc engine it is routed around the back just as the photo shows .

An 18mm spanner might well fit but nothing on these cars is of metric size strictly speaking.
You'll probably have to purchase a set of Whitworth spanners at some stage. Often these can be found cheaply at car boot sales.

I expect a suitable screw could be found to do the job with some searching but I doubt anybody keeps a screw for that exact purpose anymore.
