Re: Mg tf alloys
Or.. probibly a stupid zaney idea but if finding parts for a marina are so dificult, how hard would it be to use mgf barkes/axels? as spares are easily available and would be designed to take those wheels.

Re: Mg tf alloys
how difficult and expensive is this as i can kill two birds with one stone here (alloys and uprated brakes)
as i would have to spend £160 on tyres and more money on the drums anyway so could be cheaper to modify my car than to restore brakes and wheels?

I have been told that my car is smoke blue, but being as it is a newzealand import, the paint has been burnt to (fill in own word here) :) but the wings had been taken off to be primed up nicely. but being on a tight budget and scheduel, i'm just going for a rat look anyway as this is far cheaper th...

waxoil?
underneath my restoration minor, i have spent 200 on welding and it's all sound. However, there is still a considerable amount of surface rust underneath, it's not rot through, just niggly and could turn to rot a couple of years down the line. I asked a friend of mine and he reccons, not to rub down...

Re: Cleaning engine bay?
Well, I have wd40'd the oil off to see what is tidy and what is tatty and now I'm going to rub down and prime the areas with surface rust and get the primer sprayed over during the respray later on, so it's not that much effort for a shinney engine bay touch wood!
