Hello,
Should there be a fixing and tube here to guide the starter handle from inside the bumper to the dog (below the plate protecting the bottom of radiator)
If so, does anyone have a photo, so I could fabricate one or seek one out….
Kind regards.

What age is the car?
It may not have had one. It wasn't listed in the Minor 1000 Parts Lists.
They were discontinued quite early on, I believe at the end of SII.

See here: viewtopic.php?t=71175

There's actually one on ebay right now: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/336161373088

Looks like a Minor 1000 front panel and so it wouldn't have had a tube to guide the starting handle.

I wish I had taken a picture of the back of my front panel when it was off the car. Yours doesn't look quite right to me. That inner piece should have some clips that hold the small wiring sub-loom that goes across the engine bay.
