Slave cylinder

:Hi all please can you advise the orientation of these parts.I am .unsure if the concave sides go together or am I wrong please.

The concave end faces the fluid, the flat sides touch. If I’m understanding your question !

Thank you Les so am I correct to say the flat sides against each other.The opposite to whst I have here.So would thst mean the concave of the piston would then take rod end into its dish.

The orientation of the seal in your photo above is correct in that the concave faces into the cylinder.
The operating rod (No: 16 in the link below) sits into the outward facing concave of the metal piston.

Note:- There are variations to the slave cylinder but they are all have the same style of seal and piston.
