No power to electrical from ignition.

I hope some body can help me resolve an electrical issue.
When I turn the ignition switch to ON I am getting no power to those electrical items that usually are controlled by the ignition switch as follows:-
Heater motor
Windscreen wiper motor
Turn signals
Red ‘On’ light on Speedo display
Fuel gauge
I have checked the 2 fuses, cleaned terminals and tested the, both are OK. I don’t really know how to confirm if voltage regulator is operating correctly, but I did clean the contact terminal in case they were dirty.
There is a green and brown stipe wire not connected behind the Speedo cluster but I don’t know where it should go or even if it was ever connected. I tested it for power both with the ignition
ON and OFF but was not able to find power to it.
The car starts and runs fine lights work via switch, but I don’t like driving without the items listed as inoperative.
Any help would be much welcomed.
