test off-topic but controversial post - Austin Allegro for sale on fleabay. Be the proud owner of the spiritual successor to the Minor...

The Marina was the Spiritual successor to the Minor followed by the Ital followed by the Rover 200 then the Rover 25!
I like Allegros though.

Rather more of a successor to the M*n*, though, surely?

That was the Metro > Rover 100.
The Allegro was supposed to be the 'new car for Europe!' and yet another fine example of how committees can wreck car development. The original design by Harris Mann was truly great but after the compromises it turned out a bit naff. Such a shame. Bit of an underdog the Allegro which is why I think I feel for it so much, plus we had a few and they were fab!
Oh and we had some of the cars that it replaced too: The Austin 1100/1300!

I liked those as well.
Can you tell I'm a bit of a BL fan?

Found it for you
You'd left a question mark after the ".gif", that's all. These computers are fussy, but they're usually right

How did you do that, you cheeky blighter!
I was attempting a copy & paste but keep losing it after the copy! I've got both this posting and my site open and am trying to copy and paste between them. No question marks or gif involved . Back to the notes I s'pose. MikeN.

I'm fiddling about trying to get a decent sized graph here. But wanadoo will only let me do 220x220pixels which seem too small. Bear with me.

I don't think it's true that Wavadoo limit the physical area of pics that you can upload.
They're my ISP, but the site that that's stored on isn't on one of their servers. Is it that side of things which is causing the problem?

If you say so. Mind you, if understood what you meant it would help! (Its taken me a year to get postage stamp sized pictures up!) But thanks for the proof on size. I'm pursuing hard. MikeN.

Thanks for the pointer, Big Ging. I see that Wanadoo website builder is only restricted on size for the home page. Other pages go to 400x something, which will do the trick - when it speeds up enough to do it! Dead slow at the moment. Taa! MikeN.

I see - I've not used the homepage builder
