If there were any panels you would like manufacturing for the Morris Minor what would they be.?
I think we are catered for . Do you agree.
OK some panels could be manufactured better.

Rather depends on the year, the A Series BMC Range seems reasonable for the needs, earlier models maybe less so.

Complete convertible body shells !! Just the shell - obviously wings/doors/bonnet/boot are readily available already.

Shame the original tooling seems to be lost. Heritage could knock out new body-shells for folk.

Hi,
As far as I can see, from the lists of panels etc. offered from the main suppliers, the only thing missing is bodyshells. If they offered them you'd pretty much be able to build a new Morris Minor!
Now there's an idea..........................
The only down side is the fact that it might be forced to suffer the indignity of wearing a 'Q' plate??
Best wishes,
Mike.

No - as long as it is a 'replacement NEW bodyshell' the original Reg Number can be used in the rebuild - provided virtually ALL the parts from the original vehicle are transferred over. Just how they would know if the parts came from a particular vehicle.....I'm not sure... And 10 seconds later - nothing to stop you changing the parts anyway! Building a NEW car will be pretty much impossible now with all the difficult rules and regs to be followed.

Not aware of any panel thats not available. At least not one that there's any demand for... Bodyshells would the the obvious next step but big pressings involved with bulkhead, dash and trans tunnel, presumably no one wishes to invest in tooling...
Don't think anyone's sussed Series 2/MM windscreen trims yet, but not sure that thats a 'panel'

Good point, door skins are but some of them are of dubious quality these days..............

Ok, not doors as complete items but the vast majority of doors can be saved with the repair panel for the lower edge and for the underneath. Also skins are available, but then again, more salvagable doors are easily obtainable if yours are that bad...
