Just a quick one !

Due to me struggling today to fit new points to my 1098 - is there a easy way of fitting them or do you think it s easier to remove distributor - fit points and then refit ? or are you all young/flexible and have no problem being a contortionist ?

Thanks

I would pull the dizzy... Don't loosen the clamp - and note where the rotor arm is pointing... Put it back exactly as you find it...

Thanks ! thought I'd done wrong struggling like l did - l had wondered that had l took out the two retaining bolts and done points on the bench - it would have been easier - another lesson learnt from you owners out there -

Thanks again

ps had l known l may have been tempted to use my AA Membership :P

You think the AA man these days knows anything about 'points' ?? He would just tow you to a garage and leave you there....

Are Minors that unreliable or is your workmanship that bad :)
