Stuck Bonnet

can anyone please help I picked up my 1962 moggy traveller this weekend and have fulfilled a dream, problem is i can't open the bonnet. The cable/catch seems to have seized I am in Fareham in hampshire and would like to know where to go for someone to look at it for me. Would really appreciate any ideas or info. Many thanks kay

Welcome to the forum - bit too far for me... Did the seller not demonstrate how to open the bonnet/check oil that sort of thing? For security reasons - it's best not to tell how to open the bonnet on open forum. Hopefully someone near you will get in touch.

It may just need a really good tug, it's not like a modern cable, but is a solid rod. Once you have taken up the slack, you then need to pull hard. If that doesn;t work, then it sounds like you have a good offer from beero.
