Stuck Bonnet
can anyone please help I picked up my 1962 moggy traveller this weekend and have fulfilled a dream, problem is i can't open the bonnet. The cable/catch seems to have seized I am in Fareham in hampshire and would like to know where to go for someone to look at it for me. Would really appreciate any ideas or info. Many thanks kay
Re: Stuck Bonnet
Welcome to the forum - bit too far for me... Did the seller not demonstrate how to open the bonnet/check oil that sort of thing? For security reasons - it's best not to tell how to open the bonnet on open forum. Hopefully someone near you will get in touch.

Re: Stuck Bonnet
Hi Kay. Do you want to come round to me and I will have a go? Send me a PM, I am in Whiteley.
Re: Stuck Bonnet
It may just need a really good tug, it's not like a modern cable, but is a solid rod. Once you have taken up the slack, you then need to pull hard. If that doesn;t work, then it sounds like you have a good offer from beero.
