Midget 1098 10cc engine

I bought a 1098 Midget engine for £20 some years ago from ebay with a view to refurbing it when compressions and oil pressure on Betty our 1965 OEW convertible became low. Approaching that point now so started to strip down and puzzled/pleasantly surprised to find the main bearings are 2".
As nice as that is, it rather changes my views as to the spec I will rebuild it too as it seems a waste to build it to MM 1098 tune.
The head is a standard 12g202, cam is unidentified 3 bolt pin drive with 1/2" lobes, the flywheel that came with it is special to the 10cc I believe. So a few q's:
1) Where can I get replacement main bearings?
2) Can't find a comprehensive website to id cams - although Calver is good for heads (http://www.calverst.com/cc110f.htm)
3) Don't want a buzz box as prefer torque so which cam/valve/carb selection would help deliver that - yes I know all about 1275 torque but don't have one.
4) The 12g202 head that I have is similar to the 12g295 re valve sizes with slightly smaller inlet valve size and cc volume so is it worth the hassle of buying a 295? I know about the 12g940 too but don't want to mess with pocketing the block.
5) Has anyone fitted one of these kits as I'm tempted:
