knocking from nearside front suspension
heavy clatter from nearside front suspension on rough road. new damper, top bushes and tie bar fitted. steering rack removed inspected and replaced. Trunnion inspected when damper was changed. Any ideas please. Could it be service exchange damper faulty?

Yes, but clatter is not usually a damper (unless it is loose) so it could be other things too.Could it be service exchange damper faulty?
Were there any noise before damper was replaced?
What condition are the eyebolt bushes?
Does it have an anti roll bar?

Have you checked that the eye-bolt is tight where it passes through the chassis leg????
