Welcome to the forum - do you mean the hydraulic brake pipes ? I suggest you simply cut them - and fit new (use Kunifer - NOT copper!) after doing all the welding. The handbrake cables are disconnected from the lever in the cabin - and then slipped down through the little slots in the tunnel and removed that way - they also have a fixing at each rear backplate. Will also be wise to drain the oil from the differential before turning the car on it's side. Even then - sufficient may run through to contaminate the brake shoes - so if in good order may be wise to remove them in advance.

There are also two nuts ( one per cable ) inside the car to remove.Location right in the corners, formed by the floor pan/ transmission tunnel and heel board.

Oh yes! Forgot about them - but must be ~ 45 years since I had to renew a handbrake cable!
