Hi at the moment i have a morris minor 1000 1961 2 door i have removed the engine and gear box and now going to flip car mover to get to the underneath to repair the cross member and random floor panels but i having trouble trying to remove the brake cable as once flipped dont want brake oil going every were so any help in how to remove all cables wire as such from the cross member and any hints on the brake to.

Welcome to the forum - do you mean the hydraulic brake pipes ? I suggest you simply cut them - and fit new (use Kunifer - NOT copper!) after doing all the welding. The handbrake cables are disconnected from the lever in the cabin - and then slipped down through the little slots in the tunnel and removed that way - they also have a fixing at each rear backplate. Will also be wise to drain the oil from the differential before turning the car on it's side. Even then - sufficient may run through to contaminate the brake shoes - so if in good order may be wise to remove them in advance.

There are also two nuts ( one per cable ) inside the car to remove.Location right in the corners, formed by the floor pan/ transmission tunnel and heel board.

Oh yes! Forgot about them - but must be ~ 45 years since I had to renew a handbrake cable!
