Problems with type9 installation

I have a friend (no its not a hypotectal one, even given my recent ideas) who currently has a 1098 mog with standard box/clutch/propshaft etc.
He has a 1275 engine which had the type 9 on it and a shortened propshaft. From memory he will need a new spigot bearing, he might as well get new clutch bits (but what does he need?), the transmission cover will need modifying, a new hole cut for the gearstick, and most importantly some way of operating the clutch
I assume the best way is a hydraulic clutch conversion, but can the lever sort be used too?
