Pick Ups / Utes

I am finding it hard to find infomation on the early pickups. I have got one that we imported from England in 1959, but don't see many around, nor read much about them....heres a photo of mine.

What info are you after? It's a pretty common home done conversion, usually from a van or factory pick-up with a rotted out back, and the running gear is the same as that of a saloon of the same era - but I'm sure you know that already :D

It could have been built specially on a chassis cab from the factory.

I meant the bare chassis cab came from the factory. Must be the heat affecting da way dat I Talk

Tell me the chasis number or better still register it on line witn teh Minor LCV register and we can tell you if it was a chassis cab, van or ute when built, I can see you have found Damon's site in NZ also if you contact him he can supply upi a book on Minor LCVs with a chapter on NZ LCVs by yours truly or you can but direct from me
