Pick Ups / Utes

Post by dillon »

I am finding it hard to find infomation on the early pickups. I have got one that we imported from England in 1959, but don't see many around, nor read much about them....heres a photo of mine.

What info are you after? It's a pretty common home done conversion, usually from a van or factory pick-up with a rotted out back, and the running gear is the same as that of a saloon of the same era - but I'm sure you know that already :D

It could have been built specially on a chassis cab from the factory.
