I am now the proud owner of a 2 door 1969 Minor 1000. It has a few squeaks and rattles and the biggest one is the exhaust. The exhaust was banging/rubbing on the rear damper arm. I took it to an exhaust centre and they heated up the curved pipe over the axle and bent it upwards slightly. The problem now is it keeps banging off the centre crossmember/torsion bar every time I go over a bump. Should I fit another bracket near this or try to get the exhaust aligned a bit better? Any other suggestions gratefully accepted.
