I had a little sit on the new Lambretta, all things considered its pretty good, they have kept the essence of the lammy and should attract new younger riders, its not for me now but when i'm old and decrepid in 12 months time

i would consider one. It's a twist and go follow the link to see
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 2122wt_648
The old style are embedded in my MOD soul, just like my taste in music ,but times move on,some good some pretty poor

the new plastic lambrettas in my opionion are horrible in my opion and as an active scooterist they are set to recieve a truly horrific welcome at scooter rallies from Mods and Skins alike. good luck to anyone riding one to a scooter rally next season ;)

Mods and skins

legends in there own mind . The scooter is aimed at getting youngsters back into the scene . The plastic started years ago one memorable one being the Cosa 200 now sought after .I have had scooters of every kind for longer than i can remember

but paying £7000 for a Tv /gt 200 is madness and SX 200 ,s fetching mega money they were a mode of transport for shopping ! and developed into a culture and class distinction .I still love scooters and probably always will what scooter do you have Minor 57? Lammy vespa ?

His crowd seem a tolerant lot!!! I'm old school when it comes to scooters, but don't expect everyone to be stuck in the past!

hi happy new year ,life is almost normal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My mate went to the Bridlington scooter rally and there was at least one new style lammy and it got a good reception and most folk wanted to know more about it.
Also 10 years ago twist and go were frowned upon now with my scooter club hardly any thing said ,even the odd biker joins in,after all its 2 wheels against the tarmac

Great looking FS1E, my first mode of transport, drop bars and expansion chamber exhaust, noisy as hell and would do about 50 MPH on a good day. Added a few pics of my 1964 Lam, gone now but past it on the M4 recently, it looks a lot better than when I had it.[frame]
