1983 Vespa P125X re-engined and kitted up to 213cc, standard 2011 (registered, I suspect it sat a few years) LML 125 Star, 1980 Enfield, got MOT'd and sold to make space[frame]

Re: mopeds
Having never had a garage or driveway, the idea of a vehicle that can be brought 'indoors', albeit in bits, has always appealed to me.
I learnt to 'drive' on a C50 on local scrubbland.
Wasnt mine (a dodgy mate's), wasnt legal, was fun.
Never got into bikes though which is a shame as I imagine they're nice to work on. Engines you dont need a crane to lift..etc..etc..

Re: mopeds
I'd really love an Enfield, but they never seem to come up particularly cheaply. I remember when the importer was selling off the last of the 350s for £1995 brand new a couple of years ago, yet you rarely see secondhand ones go for significantly less than that.
Vespa PXs are also lovely, although I do rather like the look of the new GTS 300.
My current bike is an '82 Suzuki GN400. It's a really nice bike, but infuriatingly difficult to get parts for. Not sure if it's a keeper yet, or if I might be tempted to swap it for something else with better parts availability.
