Sorry, I always go by nearside/offside.
As vehicle is right hand drive lefthand side would be passenger side.
Wish you luck getting your minor back

Have you pestered the Police for CCTV footage?
Doubt the theives would have used Dual Carriageways or Motorways.

Doubt a dealer would touch it.
How about MMOC/Minor Clubs offering a service - with a signed Certificate - to stamp chassis numbers on some hidden
part of a Minor's bodyshell that shouldn't be repainted?
Vendors won't allow viewers to scrape paint off gloss painted engine bays nor drivers' floors to check chassis nos.
Did a CSN just before xmas where the body code said '62 and the id said '59 and I couldn't check the bodyshell chassis stamp
because it was covered in thick gloss paint.
Thought for the day.

I had a Black 1967 saloon stolen also in march in the Ealing area.I called local taxi firms asking their drivers to keep a look out and even offerd a reward on the local radio.Unfortunately I never got it recovered.I did, however, manage to find and buy a simular one with the insurance money.
