She was indeed!

Brakes seem a bit better now, mastercylinder rebuilt with new rubbers but it looked to be newish anway.....Im going to fit a set of new front shoes as the ones I have are okish but it cant hurt and I dont know what quality the linings are.

I purchased a undefelt kit from Bull Motif which has arrived, do they fit side to side or end to end as I cant fathom out how they fit.

Thanks

It still refuses to behave, new shoes all round, new brake fluid, no leaks and a rebuilt master cylinder (which was fine anyway).

Sometimes it stops, sometimes the pedal slowly goes to the floor!

How frustrating! If you are not loosing fluid - I can only think that there's a problem with the master cylinder. :-?

If the brakes are ok at first and then fade it sounds like there is still air in the braking system.

If you pump the brakes - does the peddle pressure become stronger? If there was air in the system I'm not convinced that the pedal would go to the floor. Still think it's fluid breaking past the master cylinder seals - but I'm wondering if you have a brake servo??? Weak diaphram would cause an intermitant problem - depending on gaps between braking actions. But, I still favour a MC prob.
