Hi Andrew, i don't currently know the nz regplate as the car came with very little history, however, i am still tracking down information. if i find it out, i will let you know. thanks for your interest though

As a last resort, if it has some old Kiwi registration stickers on the windscreen, send me the years of the stickers and the long number printed at the bottom of the sticker, and I will see what I can get out of our local system.

Hi Andrew, I checked out the stickers on the car, a lime green one from 1985-1986 no.1385961 . A Bluey greeny one from1987 no. 08274451. A red one from 1988 no. 01278901. A green one from 1989 no.00924703. I have a service book from midfield motors withservices in 1961 up to 3000 miles. I also have a blue sticker in the back saying Libra cars

Hi Henry, I have run that info past our LTSA...the government vehicle registration agency, and they say that they have discarded all pre-1995 records as far as registration stickers go, however if you have a VIN number, or a chassis number from the firewall, they may be able to trace it that way...let me know and I can go in to bat on your behalf.

Hi Andrew, thanks for your effort so far, I have taken the chassis numbers off at the moment so I will have to raid through the boxes and try to find them :s hopefully I haven't lost them!

Hi Andrew, in my log book, it says that the chassis number is 871975 and the engine number "NOT STATED" hope this helps

Found the chassis numbers and on the back in pen is. 49y32y.I wonder if that is the NZ reg?
