Dont drill holes in the van, take Alec Issigonis advice, dont fit "domestic appliances" to cars.
Sing, "little dolly daydream", "ten green bottles", "she was a sweet little dicky bird" or whatever takes your fancy and the kids if you teach them the words will remember the journeys forever, dont let the little blighters bring I pods etc.
Or just talk, especially to yourself.

Hi I'm Jane just read your comment about shark fin Ariel do they work and where did you place it on the car do you have to wire it in I'm not sure how it works I'm just about to fit a radio
