Driving on top of fresh or flattened snow is NOT going to get your car salty!! That won't happen until the roads start to clear -which in this case was about 24 hours after the snow cameM25 last night in a blizzard....only issue was the windscreen wipers not quite keeping up, sailed round it otherwise. I think maybe as we have to drive slightly differently anyway we are in some ways better equipped in this weather!
When you wet a good snowfall, the salt and grit is underneath the snow
