M25 last night in a blizzard....only issue was the windscreen wipers not quite keeping up, sailed round it otherwise. I think maybe as we have to drive slightly differently anyway we are in some ways better equipped in this weather!
Driving on top of fresh or flattened snow is NOT going to get your car salty!! That won't happen until the roads start to clear -which in this case was about 24 hours after the snow came :(
When you wet a good snowfall, the salt and grit is underneath the snow :D
