As others have said my car goes to work everyday anyway, hopefully we will see a few others on the road this week as well!

Also here in Portugal my Morris Minors will cross Lisbon's streets in this week, NeXT week , NeXT months except when is rain!

I've been driving mine to work (as I do all year round) but haven't seen any others about.

the car is 23 / 24 years old, which is 7 / 8 years older than my moggy was when I purchased it.. and my moggy was a classic then.. I have not comment on it being bland / boring though

I've been out and about in Phyllis this week and, hopefully, that will continue for the five days.

I can't say that I've seen many classics out on the road, but there are still three days left.
I've quite enjoyed it actually, although my commute takes almost an hour. Still it's good to blow the cobwebs away occasionally and this is a far better run than pootling around at the weekend - my weekends tend to be filled with many other things than Phyllis, sadly.

I did it today and enjoyed it, only saw two other classics, a mini and a MGB GT.
It needs more publicity, I'd never heard of the idea before your post.

Jayne and I are on holiday this week and work is a distant memory for the time being at any rate, but we have brought our Traveller to North Yorkshire with us. Does that count?

Like MarkyB I had never heard of this week until I happened to see this post.

Ernie my traveller is used everyday and does a minimum of 250 miles a week - insurance covers me to and from work and unlimited mileage so problems. Used in all weather including snow![frame][/frame]

I drive Ernie my morris traveller everyday to and from work a total of 250 miles a weeks and it makes me smile every day (plus lots of people who see Ernie and me) My insurance covers me to and from a place of work and unlimited mileage so no problem and its cheap [frame][/frame]

I saw four classics on the commute yesterday, and three today. VERY rarely see any classics on the commute to work so I reckon it must have had something to do the the Classic Car Weekly "Drive Your Classic To Work Week".

So far I've seen two Fiat 500s (one Arbath), a '50s Volvo PV444, one Minor Saloon, an E-Type Jag, an early Porsche 911, and what looked like a '50s removal van!

Bluey decided to throw a hissy-fit. So i made her stay at home today

I hereby rename this 'Drive your girlfriends fiat punto to work week'.

the fact that the goodwood festival of speed was on, probably explains several of the cars that i saw rather than just the warm weather.

Saw nothing round here, (other than a Porsche 356, but that was coming to see me for some welding so dosn't count!) but then its only a three mile drive on rural roads...

I saw two Rover P6's on Thursday one was parked and the other was coming in the opposite direction and he waved.
