Yes Spud is a canine and Julie is my better half.Sorry to have missed you Ladysister.Maybe it would be a good idea to display our messageboard "handles" when attending rallies so as to put names/cars to faces.

Hello Dan
Good photo report
Hi Longdog
I would like to have more information on Wicked Woody.
which modifications ? perhaps for a forthcoming car?

Hi all, such kind words thankyou. The car was restored by me over 8 months and has been modified since. It has a 1310cc marina engine with swiftune sw5 cam, stage 3 Cooper S head, Metro turbo carb and powermax pistons.
Behind is a 5 speed sierra box with a midget diff.
Tele gas shocks to the rear, anti roll bar to the front and Wolseley brakes to the front.
This gives the car 88 bhp and the tall gearing makes it more of a touring car than a 0-60 racer, although it is no slouch.
Dan 10/10 for memory there you are indeed correct.Currently being powder coated are a set of 5.5j wheels which should enhance grip. The car should soon be featured in Minor Monthly as I have compiled an article.
