T'was a last minute decision to go as the weather seemed to have perked up a bit :-) Had a really good drive there and back - the pick-up (red one) behaved perfectly. Had lots of waves and smiles on the way down but none on the way back - think it was mad traffic trying to get back to London -) Good meeting you WPR68B :-) Also nice to meet Graham Jarvis who, I think, was quite bemused at me changing my coil during the prize giving ceremonies :o Well I wasn't really going to win anything was I :D And, of course, Steve was there with the long long Minor with many wheels :o

Hope those of you that went to Hatfield House also had a nice day.

Sad I didn't make it. Last years show was the best I had been to that year.
Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.

It was a good day, and nice run for my traveller, wish i'd taken my van though.
A real shame the Dorset lot don't like signs! Didn't see anything on the roads, and nothing obvious on the way down to the park. the show field gate being closed due to the band going round didn't help me find the field entrance either! Glad I went though.
cheers, Daniel

The pulling power of a Turbo Diesel! The voices may not be real, but they have good ideas.

Looks like an Austin 10 from the 1930s; could be a "Big" 7. I wonder if the spoked wheels are original?

I think you're right - I'm almost sure it's a 1930s Austin10 Cambridge - was very beautiful :D

There is a 1938 Morris 10 at the garage who do my MOTs and the chairman of my local classic car club has a 1934 side valve Convertible - http://vsandccc.org.tripod.com/Gallery.htm.

I confess that for years, although interested in old cars, I tended to have eyes for only sports & racing models. Since getting into Morris Minors, I have started to take more interest in older saloons. I don’t get a lot of time to go to events but when I do, I tend to look at a wider range of exhibits, from motor cycles to buses and lorries. There is always a good variety at Tredegar Park, in Newport, every September (Hope its not rained off again this year). If only I could get some railway sidings laid on, they could bring in some steam engines :D .

Having said that, I still like the sports and racing cars and hope to attend a VSCC event at Prescott next month (Where, if I ever get round to competing again, I have said that I will have a go in the Traveller).
