Iwas interested to read your comments on metalastic bushes. I fitted some to my Minor and have done well over 100k miles since so they seem to last well. Why do you prefer either standard or poly bushes for the eye bolts?
Cheers
The reason I do not really like the metalistic bushes is that the centre steel sleeve should be clamped tight and not move. All the flex is in the rubber. As they are quite a small diameter and the angular movement quite large I feel the rubber is too stressed and in most case the steel sleeve may turn on the torsion bar pin, especially as you really need to cover the pin with anti seize grease (copaslip) if you ever want to get the things apart in the future. I am not saying they will not work but prefer the poly bushes as they generally give a smoother movement and are easier to fit and dismantle. Plus they will take up any innaccuracies that exist in the alignment of the suspension components.

On mine it was so easy to slide the torsion bar out that I suspect the bar had been turning in the sleeve. The torsion bar pin still seems to be properly cylindrical, as far as I can tell.

Poly bushes to be ordered...

John, thanks. Points that I hadn't considered.
