I like Allegros though. :D
Have you ever owned one?? :o

Hideous car, as was the Marina. I was glad to hear there are only 600 left in Britain and only 200 Itals.

Quick! grab one and strip it for parts before they all go! :o :) :D

The Minor is the spiritial successor to the Minor as after 1971 the rot REALLY set in at BL.
Cheers John - all comments IMHO

Not technically owned (my mum owned it) but I drove it quite a bit (1979 Allegro 1.3 Super) and it was a brilliant car. Utterly reliable and a real pleasure to drive. I also like the styling of the car and the fact that it's a bit of an underdog. All in all I like the cars. :D

I don't think that just because you don't like something is any reason to destroy it. Especially if other people like it. :(

 Or go to a BL day and walk round the marinas/itals shouting donar car!

Not just BL either. The country started going down the pan then too. :(

Hmm - I've owned 8 Marinas - Fine cars, and dirt cheap in the 80s. The handling problems were blown out of all proportion too...

Crapi's handled fine. :o
The back end is supposed to go around corners before the front so that people coming the other way aren't blinded by your headlights :D

To be fair the old marina TC was quite scary in the wet and that was when I was only a passenger.

MikeNash,
There's a trick which seems to work with Wanadoo picture sizes...
They coded their resizing feature to only check the width (as most digital camera shots are wider than they are tall...)
Therefore you can actually get a bigger photo, or add photos together by using as much height as you can!

eg:

However if you want to find somewhere to host zillions of pictures, the Wanaddoo site builder is not up to it! You can use lots of other ways, e.g. an online photo album (such as with www.imagestation.com) allows lots and lots. There can be a problem with some websites if they don't let the picture be linked from another site, but imagestation seems fine...

I've rather lost the thread, but if someone's after having a pic/pics hosted, email them/it to me and I'll do it.

I expect u probably can - I was just giving MikeNash some tips regarding ways to get around rules within their sitebuilder package (one of those packages that builds a website for you) as I've used it a lot and it can give good results if you know how to work around the rules - see www.minor-detour.com - most pictures don't conform to their size rules ;-)
