right you are re: threadlock. I've seen those screws that you have and they do look better.
I'll let you know how I get on.
Hmmm thats interesting - I wonder how it compares to the Swiftune SW5 which is a similar beast! (and, I believe, made also by Kentcams)KirstMin wrote:
The cam is the morspeed phase II which I believe is a reprofiled kent 286. Whatever they do it makes it run nice and smooth at low revs and apparently Kent Cams have asked Morspeed to bring out a range for them.
I thought Swiftune were a different company?iambiggles wrote: Hmmm thats interesting - I wonder how it compares to the Swiftune SW5 which is a similar beast! (and, I believe, made also by Kentcams)
Yeah, swiftune are based in Kent and are one of the top Mini tuners in the country. They developed the SW5 to do a similar thing to the morspeed one, i.e. give good tickover, low revs and great torque in an otherwise quite "cammy" camKirstMin wrote:I thought Swiftune were a different company?iambiggles wrote: Hmmm thats interesting - I wonder how it compares to the Swiftune SW5 which is a similar beast! I was thinking about the SW5 but Simon persuaded me to go for the Morspeed Phase II (MSPD Fast road) because he said it would give better overall power and feel like it actually has a Cam in it.
That said, I believe the SW5 is supposed to be a great Cam.
Rolling Road booked for Thursday
