Where can I get a GENUINE negative earth DLB105 Lucas GOLD SPORTS HIGH OUTPUT ignition coil from please?
There are lots of Lucas Sports Coils for sale but I've seen mention that a lot are cheap copies of poor quality sold using the Lucas name.
Genuine Lucas coil supplier?

Re: Genuine Lucas coil supplier?
There is no polarity to an ignition coil other than how it is connected up.
Distributor Doctor sells Lucas coils made in India and he says they are very well made and reliable.

Note that this has a screw in king lead connection (requires washer and acorn which the coil is supplied with) not a push fit connection.
Or, try to find an original new old stock Lucas coil. Old Intermotor coils are also good.
Other excellent new coils are those made by Pertronix especially the resin filled type that resists vibration better than oil filled. Make sure it is 3 Ohm for standard set up.

Re: Genuine Lucas coil supplier?
If it is supplied by the Dizzy Doc then it is almost certain to be good.
Otherwise, autojumbles are good for old, 'proper job' coils. These go on for decades, unlike many modern imitations. I have never had a coil failure in over 40 years of continuous Minor driving, encompassing four different cars and coils. All old 'proper job' ones. Concerning ignition system failures, the old adage "Its never the coil", coined by a previous, prolific poster on here, was always made with the caveat that it did not apply to the poor quality modern imitation types.

Sounds like I'm best sticking with the unknown coil that has been in the car since 1988 then!
Re: Genuine Lucas coil supplier?
Definitely, and look out for genuine old coils to carry for spares.
