I would go by the strength of the spring.
The weakest will be the throttle return spring. Pt No: 1E5537.
The middle strength will be the brake pedal return spring . Pt No: AAA599
The strongest will be the clutch pedal return spring. The one attached to the rear engine plate. Pt No: AAA1628.
All part numbers are from the MOSS Europe Minor parts list.

Brake return spring - the hooks are set at 90 degrees to each other, not parallel.. c
