HS2 S.U needles in 1100 A motor single carb
I have ruined one set of plugs with an overly rich needle, in a reco engine, and having changed that needle I am having difficulty to get the tune point of engine rev lift at the 1/32 lift of the piston. Im not sure what speed the engine should be to try that mixture test, I have I believe a NA needle in it right now, but Im not sure whether that is the total description. Its a minefield this jetting, and expensive experimenting. Probably the H2 is larger carb than original, but jetted right shouldnt make much difference?

The HS2 is the correct carb for the 1098cc Minor 1000. The tag attached to the float chamber should read AUD13.
The correct standard needle is AN.
The weak needle is EB.
The rich needle is H6.
The main jet is 0.090.

I apologise, as I had the letters back to front. Have the right needle, and thanks.
