Give the lock nut on the track rod a good soaking in penetrating oil while you're waiting.

Are you replacing both TRE's? Would be a good idea and then get the tracking checked, as the new TRE's may not be exactly the same length as the old ones, so the tracking may be out. The tracking should be set to 3/32" or 2.5mm Toe IN - some have found it better at nearer to parallel with radial ply tyres, so around 1/16" or 1.5mm toe in.

TRE was the same length as old one. Nearside is OK, but yes - I plan to get the tracking done anyway.
