The car in the pictures above, as long as its not just primer
, looks more like birch grey

My '52 seriesmm has the code J & it is dark grey which relates to Clarendon Grey

I'm sure if you tried some T cut or similar it will be Clarendon and look like the grey in Tyson's pic. You can see the blueyness in the bonnet on your pic, its very faded and oxidised.
