Re: unsatisfactory mechanic work - Any help appreciated
ESM list both reconditioned and new.
Re: unsatisfactory mechanic work - Any help appreciated
I only can see reconditioned......and indeed it appears to come without the pulley boss - which is secured with a key.

Unfortunately only reconditioned available from ESM and no projected date for new units Pt No: SS107A! It does state use SS107R (reconditioned) at £83.25 plus VAT with a surcharge of £75 refundable on receiving a unit fit for reconditioning.
Re: unsatisfactory mechanic work - Any help appreciated
I think you must have an 'old' link there - because I only see reconditioned on the website - it's also surprising that a 'new' one would cost LESS than a reconditioned one in that link!! So - to the original question - where did they source a NEW water pump for the 803 engine?? Or DID they - have they fobbed you off with a secondhand one after perhaps trying to 'fix up' the original pump them selves??

The Club should 'corner the market' ! I can't see anyone bothering to make any more new ones.......

EP Services, Wolverhampton, 01902 452914, recondition water pumps. I send my Series MM pumps there and I believe that Bryan sends the club pumps there also

Yes - but the garage claimed to have fitted a NEW pump - so I had hoped the original poster would be able to tell us from the invoice where that had come from. Is it possible to rebuild an early pump - using internal parts from a later (much less expensive) pump?
