I only can see reconditioned......and indeed it appears to come without the pulley boss - which is secured with a key.

Unfortunately only reconditioned available from ESM and no projected date for new units Pt No: SS107A! It does state use SS107R (reconditioned) at £83.25 plus VAT with a surcharge of £75 refundable on receiving a unit fit for reconditioning.

I think you must have an 'old' link there - because I only see reconditioned on the website - it's also surprising that a 'new' one would cost LESS than a reconditioned one in that link!! So - to the original question - where did they source a NEW water pump for the 803 engine?? Or DID they - have they fobbed you off with a secondhand one after perhaps trying to 'fix up' the original pump them selves??

bmc you are right in that the above link given by simmitc is an old one as only recon units listed/available from ESM.
Looking on 'e' bay there are qty 9 new pumps available from MORRISMINORPARTS Item No: 161068196286 at a buy it now price of £86.40.

EP Services, Wolverhampton, 01902 452914, recondition water pumps. I send my Series MM pumps there and I believe that Bryan sends the club pumps there also

Yes - but the garage claimed to have fitted a NEW pump - so I had hoped the original poster would be able to tell us from the invoice where that had come from. Is it possible to rebuild an early pump - using internal parts from a later (much less expensive) pump?
