Hello John, could you please write a follow-up on your tests of the new British made points/condensors. For those sticking with real ignition your findings would be helpful.

I think you mean 'the original set up' otherwise I and others like me, who have fitted lumenition /magnetronic ignition have been suffering from the illusion that our cars have been starting all these years, when in reality we're stuck on our driveways, slobbering and making engine noises, whilst in the background the wife is making a phone call...............

Best wishes and happy new year,
Mike.

Also can any one recommend the best place tp buy decent flashers?
I have just fitted 2 new flasher cans to my 59 traveller, (I need 2 to keep the semaphores operating) one is faulty from new, what a pain, doubted myself and spent time testing my newly fitted wiring before checking the flasher unit.
I wonder how long the working one will last.

After my original flasher can failed I went through three 'new' ones :o from main suppliers before I found a good flasher can! Dodgy batch??
Anyway I now always carry a spare in the glove box, just in case................... ( I hope it's a good one.... )
Best wishes,
Mike.
