Ray Well, who authored an encyclopedic book on Morris Minor
Should be Ray Newell.

Very interesting. I never knew that Pakistan was such a large market for British and American cars. Good article! :D

Lovely article Sheraz, nitpicking, there is a slight typo, I think you caught the Y key by mistake, thye instead of the, in the second column, great read though.

Interesting story... I like the 'denters' ... and this..... " Morris Minor, in its appearance, is geometry personified. Exuding hints of femininity, it resembles a chubby-looking pretty woman with innate grace. Her body has multiple contours that are unthreatening and gentle. Still there is some subtle oddity in her profile. Our eyes, groomed in the classical perspective of beauty, trained to associate grandeur with size, finds something out-of-synch in a Morris Minor as we look at her from the front. " :D

What was involved in the conversion to a taxi?
I'm thinking paint job and fit a meter, anything else like heavy duty seats or springs?

Hi MarkyB! Yes, you are right. Just paint work , installing a meter and obtaining a license to operate as a taxi was all that required for conversion of a vehicle to taxi.
