Forget the 1.8 Marina engine it is too heavy and will unbalance the car, plus it is much bigger than the A-series engine and so will need modifications to fit. Also none of the parts mentioned are compatible with the Moggy engine.
Best bet is to get a 1.3 marina engine or 1.3 Ital engine if you want to stay Morris.

Hmmm You two developing a telepathy? It would certainly speed up work on the cars when you're working together!

Seriously though, the reason we both commented on this is it's a well known fact and has been tried for many years with very poor results.

Not that we've ever had a joint project - (In fact I've done all the work on my cars singlehandedly for at least 10 years - necessity is certainly the mother of all invention!) but there might be a joint project in the pipeline next year... and that's not just finding a new home for Cam's traveller.on the cars when you're working together!
Actually the car that Kate wants in the free section might fit the bill but I've promised myself not to take on any more 'projects' until I actually need another car AND I can't afford one with long MOT (not just yet then

But ray, ray, ray.
If you got it that'd save me from being killed by my parents when they come to visit and go "but I thought you were going to clear the garage....why is the car still outside Kate?".
