Got a call to clear a house the other day after clearing the house we had to clear a few items in one of the 2 garages and I spotted the front wheel of a vehicle so I asked the customer whats the car and what are you doing with it.10 minutes later I was the owner of it 30 thousand miles 1978 1 owner from new vauxhall cav 1.6 GLS. sportback[frame]

Funny you should say it but the loft was full 2 hrs to clear it vases pottery old photographic and loads of hornby train and mecano
but the best was my new toy in the garage. Its the dealers we work for sort the other stuff out

tomorrow dinner time is getting nearer bring it on for collection. did not think anything about these cars till I see it and i,m smitten. from what I can see its nearly concourse sitting on 4 new tyres on alloy wheels with the original rosstyles waiting to go back on. Its been sitting in this garage 16 years just look at it. better shut up I,m love struck

U lucky lad, used to have a standard (L I think) one and it was fun. Paid 50 quid for it and ran it till the MOT ran out then had a suprise as it only needed 2 bulbs and new shoes on the back to get another one
Sold it on to a mate when I got my BSA A10 back on the road and he shoehorned a Ford GT 2 litre in to it (cortina I think) then wrote it off on the A47 on the way to work in Yarmouth one morning when a woman pulled out in front of him. Put it in a ditch lost conciousness and was woken up by muddy water entering his mouth eeeeek. Luckily the bonnet was so badly damaged it couldn't be opened so the insurance didn't spot the engine change which he of course had not told them about

I know its not Morris but cant believe the condition as it arrived home today with a new battery a fresh fuel pipe [perished] points cleaned and it was running everyone telling me these engines rattle not this one sewing machine,the paint has no scratches in it as picture shows I have a picture under the door perfect the carpets are like new and the boot was like a time warp as with the sunglasses combe and the beachboys came on tape also electric antenna working
