the dvla are very very professional at charging people money but they cannot even get a date correct or a description or even a chassis or body number correct.
I own a 1974 MG Midget 1275 in Teal Blue "Midget" is what we call him and he is in very good to excellant condition "midget" is a Chrome bumper/Round Wheel arch model.
Don't start me off on the DVLA - My Traveller reg doc says its a 1098. It is and always has been a 948 but yet they refuse to correct their error until I get the car professionally inspected to prove its a 948 !!!!

Yes, we have certain people around the country who are accepted by DVLA and the insurance companies who inspect cars i.e. when there's a question after a rebuild as to which car donated the most parts which registration plate the car carries or whether is requires a Q plate. These same people can help a member with an agreed valuation certificate for insurance purposes. They would easily spot a 948 from a 1098
